August 1 (Happy Birthday Cindy, Zachary and Samantha)
Pepe's daily lesson: None, it was a good day! None of us did anything stupid but we only traveled 78 miles today.

Ok, so we have made it to Yellowstone and the journey from Jackson up is one everyone should take at least once in their lifetime. We have all decided that of all the states we have been through (Nevada, Utah and Colorado) that Wyoming has left the biggest impression on us. It is absolutely beautiful! We dodged yet another heavy rain storm today and it looks like things are going to start warming and clearing for us... HURRAY. On Tuesday we plan on touring the park and looking for wildlife - something bigger then "Chip and Dale".

 

August 2
Pepe's daily lesson: We went 103 miles and still didn't see 10% of the park. Lesson learned book more time in Yellowstone.

Shari's and Sally's daily lesson - REMAIN IN FRONT OF PEPE BECAUSE HE SCARES US AND WE HAVE THE PICTURE TO PROVE IT!

We saw something bigger than Chip and Dale and the three chicks - we saw wild Buffalo and Elk.
We were involved in rush hour traffic in Yellowstone caused by Buffalo crossing the road. What a site! We were in awe.

Tomorrow destination Old Faithful and then on to Idaho.
